Little Black (Lace!) Dress!

July 7, 2014

Hi dolls!

I hope everyone had a super fabulous holiday weekend! I worked on the 4th, but I was able to enjoy some best friend & family time after working! I ate dinner at the country club with my bestie Gracie and her family, then I hit good ole Soddy Daisy, TN for some fireworks with my sweet family! It was a great time. I'm reminded every day how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends & family! :)

Kisses from my precious nephew!

Anyway, back to today's post! So I don't know about y'all but I have this weird problem where when I find something I like when I'm shopping, I want it in every. single. color! This results in me having multiple tops, dresses, shorts, etc in the same style but different color. Oops! But hey, you can't argue with what you like right? That's what I like to tell myself anyway, haha! That being said, that's basically what happened with the dress I'm wearing in my OOTD below. I had bought the white version of the dress at H&M last summer (remember when I paired it with cowgirl boots to a Kenny Chesney concert HERE?) & then when I shopped at the H&M in NYC last October, I found the EXACT same dress in black. Obviously I had to have it :). Not to mention a girl can NEVER have too many "little black dresses"....and never too many little LACE dresses! Last Tuesday I went to get mani/pedis & shopping with 2 of my BFFs, so I decided my black lace dress paired with sandals would be perfect for trying clothes on and being comfortable! I accessorized with my new Target turquoise purse that has quickly become my new fashion obsession (it surprisingly goes with SO much!). I love the way black & turquoise look together! Here's how my OOTD turned out....

{Outfit Details}
Dress: H&M (not online, but love this one here and a sleeveless version here)
Handbag: Target (HERE)
Sandals: Body Central (not online anymore, these are cute here and here)
Necklace: Charlotte Russe (not online but love this necklace HERE)
Anchor Ring: Rue 21 (not online but this is adorable)

And of course this post would not be complete without a few snapshots from our girls day....

Dressing room mirror selfie :)

Fresh pedicures!

And of course we had to buy matching Jessica Simpson leopard print wedges (majorly on sale! Will post about soon!). We get asked all the time if we are sisters so I guess this further proves the theory that we may be related haha! Check out this girl's blog HERE!! She has seriously cute style!

I hope y'all have a great start to your week! Thanks so much for reading!

XOXO
Ashley
