Hi loves!

How is everyone doing!? I'm so excited to share this look with y'all tonight. In the midst of studying for my NP boards, I took a study break to style some outfits for the blog. Can't wait to share all these new looks over the next few weeks, so be sure to follow along on my Instagram HERE, Facebook page HERE, and Twitter account HERE so you don't miss any of my new posts! 😘

So on to this outfit. I absolutely LOVE these pants and think every girl should own a pair in their wardrobe. I bought this exact pair before our honeymoon at H&M and got them in a khaki color as well. Let me tell ya, I've worn them already a TON this summer! They have been my go-to pair of pants for traveling....they are light weight but also warm enough for chilly airplanes & airports. Plus, I love that you can either dress them up or down. So I thought, why not style my favorite pair of pants for fall!?

This time of year is the perfect "transition" time. It's easy to shift your wardrobe from summer to fall by accessorizing with cool weather accessories. In this #ootd, all I simply did was add a leopard print scarf. I bought this exact one from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and have worn it countless ways already! It is definitely my new fall staple, and for under $20, you can't beat the price. I love the way leopard print looks with army green. It's such a chic combination! Also....let's talk about these heels! My serious new obsession and surprisingly they are comfortable! Every girl needs a nude pair of stilettos. They elongate your legs (shout out to the short-leg girls like me! haha), and they literally go with EVERY single color! I love them and am thinking of ordering them in black as well. Another great way to transition these pants into fall is by adding a denim jacket or a chambray shirt!

I appreciate y'all reading! Leave me a comment and let me know what is YOUR favorite way to transition your summer wardrobe into fall!

Happy Thursday dolls!

I hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL week! This week has been busy with studying for my FNP boards which I will take next month, but I am SO thankful for this time to study. God is good!!!

So right now, while I am taking a study break watching my fave show (Big Brother! Anyone else a fan!?), I wanted to write a blog post to share this #ootd that features one of my favorite new tops!

This top I originally blogged about HERE, and is one from the super cute and fashion-forward Who What Wear line available at Target. I love this top for MANY reasons....1) it's off the shoulder (OTS) which is one of my favorite styles; 2) I love the bell sleeves which add some flare to a top; 3) it's black & white gingham. Need I say more? 4) It is the perfect fall transition piece: wear it now as I am above, wear it later with some boots, jacket & scarf. I also love the Free People jeans I'm wearing above. They were a new purchase from a super cute little boutique in The Gulch in Nashville. I found the exact pair on Nordstrom's site so I linked it above. I know I will get a lot of use out of them this fall! Also......can't finish this blog post without mentioning how much I am in love with the Marc Fisher booties I'm wearing in this outfit. I originally bought this exact pair in cognac from TJ Maxx, and when I found the black pair from DSW I knew I had to have them...lol.  Bonus, they are currently on sale! Who else buys something they like in multiple colors!?

Of course you have to top off a black & white look with a bold red lip, right ladies!? This pretty lip color I'm wearing above is by Lipsense in the shade Blu-Red. It LITERALLY lasts all...day...long! I am SO amazed at the quality of this product and how well it lasts (even through a meal!). I am thinking of doing a tutorial + video review on this product, is that something y'all would be interested in!? Send me a message on Instagram here, or e-mail me at ashleyspassionforfashion@gmail.com and let me know!

I hope y'all have a wonderful rest of your evening! Thank you SO very much for stopping by, as always!!!

Styling My Favorite Vintage Hat

August 16, 2017

{Outfit Details}
T-Shirt: Target (here, only $8) // Skirt: Kohl's (no longer online, similar here, also here) // Sandals: Target (here) // Hat: Vintage (similar here, here, here - this one is just $25 by BP! love it.)

Happy Tuesday, y'all!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Yesterday I had a super special date with my precious Mommy! Sometimes when my hubby is out of town for work, I like to bring it back to my teenage years and spend the night with my parents. I always love their company! Another thing I love about visiting them is when my Mom has recently cleaned out her closet, and she has some vintage fashions to pass on down to me! This time, Mom had this ADORABLE hat to give me. I'm telling ya, having a love of fashion is just in my DNA and I have to thank my Mom for that (and both of my grandmothers on my Mom's and my Dad's side. It was just inevitable I would love fashion).

I was SO excited to style this vintage hat with some of my classic wardrobe favorites. A hat like this is timeless, but you can make it modern by pairing it with your classic, every day pieces. As y'all read about in THIS post, I bought this gold t-shirt last week, and for $8, it's a wonderful closet staple to wear now and later! I also love this maxi skirt. I purchased mine a couple of years ago at Kohl's, but I have linked very similar ones above. A maxi skirt is a good alternative to jeans as it's still casual, but it does add a a fancy twist to your #ootd. Mom & I spent the afternoon going to lunch and then shopping at a local antique mall. I am on the hunt for a china cabinet, and I think I found THE perfect one! When you receive all of these amazing wedding gifts, you want to display them, and I can't wait to keep all of our new gorgeous serving pieces and dinnerware inside.

Thank you sweet readers SO much for stopping by! Be sure to enter my latest giveaway on my Instagram page HERE, by watching the video & following the instructions. The contest ends on Friday!

Floral Romper Dress

August 13, 2017

Outfit Details:
Romper Dress: fab'rik (here, on sale for $40) // Wedges: fab'rik (no longer online but similar wedges here for only $29.99!) // Sunglasses: Kate Spade (my exact pair no longer online, but very similar Kate Spade pair here)

Happy Sunday dolls!

I hope y'all have had a lovely weekend. We had a relaxing one which is always nice from time to time!! Especially since last weekend we were out of town in Nashville for my graduation from Vanderbilt's NP program, which is where we took these pics 😊

So my actual pinning ceremony wasn't until Sunday so we had free time Friday night & Saturday to enjoy Nashville and celebrate my finishing school! On Saturday afternoon, hubby and I went exploring in the Gulch and took some pictures. We found this ADORABLE flower truck, is it not the cutest!? I wish we had these in Chattanooga. Hubby was joking (or maybe serious) that we should open our own. That would be lovely if I knew how to grow flowers, haha!

So, on to the outfit! I bought this floral romper dress back in June and it has been one of my favorites this summer. I wore it to dinner out on our L.A. trip (see my recap of our experience eating at SUR here), and I love that it is perfect to wear with wedges or to dress it up with a pair of heels. Have y'all ever tried a romper dress? I have to admit, this was my first one, but I love that it has the skirt of an actual dress but it also has shorts like a romper! It's the perfect combination of both worlds in my opinion, lol. If you don't feel super comfortable wearing a romper, this is a great alternative. Whenever I wear a bold print like this floral pattern, I try to downplay the rest of my accessories (i.e. nude wedges, simple jewelry). The best part of all is that this romper dress is on sale for $40 right now. I have also linked a few different other options below so be sure to check them out (a long sleeve version is perfect for fall)!

Thank you SO much for reading! I hope y'all have a wonderful start to your week!

XOXO,
Ashley
