Happy fall (officially now, since the first day of fall was yesterday!). Temps are finally in the 50s-60s in the mornings & I couldn't be happier! Some of my favorite colors to wear during this season are shades of neutrals & browns. And of course to spice it up a little, I added in some leopard print (I think leopard print will always be one of my favorites for years to come, haha, and it totally counts as a neutral). And to top it off, of course I had to add (yet another) new fall hat I bought (again from Target! They seriously have some super cute ones right now). I have an obsession y'all! I just think they are the perfect solution to add that extra cute factor to an outfit (or to cover up your roots if it's time to get your hair colored again...haha)! Plus, when the weather turns even cooler they will help you stay warm. That's just a fashion bonus! I really want a hat to match my cognac bag exactly, so I'll be on the lookout for one of those to add to my collection :)

I hope y'all are having a fab week so far, thank you for reading!

Blush Pink & Navy!

{Outfit Details}
Top: H&M (similar here)
Skirt: Forever 21 (not online, similar here)
Heels: F21 (HERE)
Necklace: Stella & Dot (no longer online, love this one here)
Bracelet: Purple Peridot (here)
Handbag: Louis Vuitton (here)

Happy weekend dolls! :) I absolutely LOVE all things lace so obviously as soon as I saw this top I knew I HAD to have it....and also had to buy it in 2 other colors, haha! A girl can never have too many options. This blush pink is such a feminine color and goes well with so many things. Also this skirt from Forever 21 is another wardrobe fave. I've always loved the way navy & pink look together so that was another reason I felt like this outfit would work :). These pictures were made during a little afternoon stroll in my local art district here in Chattanooga :) such a beautiful day, but I'm definitely craving some cooler temps!

I hope y'all have an amazing weekend!

Plaid & Hats

{Outfit Details}
Plaid top: Forever 21 (not online, cute option here)
Shorts: Old Navy (here)
Fur Vest: Forever 21 (not online, so many good ones out right now! Love this)
Hat: Forever 21 (not online, love this and this)
Booties: Old Navy (mine not online but I LOVE these!)
Bag: Target (here)
Another day, another fall hat! :) I seriously can't stop buying hats (I currently have 4 and counting....). Since this is one of those trendy items, I really don't want to invest a lot, so luckily I have found some adorable ones at Forever 21 and Target. The one I'm wearing in my OOTD is from F21 & it was only $10 (!!!!!) in stores! I literally bought it just a couple of weeks ago, and even though there's not a link online definitely check your local stores to see if they have it in stock! Another trend this fall that I'm excited is making a come back is the fur vest. I've ALWAYS loved fur vests (past evidence here & here)! I'm definitely going to be buying a new one this season...I have my eye on the one I've linked above from H&M. And of course, I am still loving plaid! Nothing says fall like a plaid shirt. It's so timeless and classic. I decided in this outfit to transition my jean shorts into fall. Don't be afraid to play with your wardrobe ladies :) it's definitely not completely fall weather in TN yet, but that's the perfect opportunity to play with your summer wardrobe and fall it up! :)

Thanks so much for reading!

Fall Y'all!

September 12, 2014

 {Outfit Details}
Dress: Forever 21 (not online, love these here)
Hat: Target (exact one not online but very similar here)
Booties: Old Navy (similar here)
Purse: H&M (similar here)
Necklace: Purple Peridot (no longer online, here is Kendra Scott version)

Words cannot express my love for fall clothes. While it is still a bit on the warm side here in Tennessee, I honestly just couldn't wait any longer to start putting together some fall outfits! This outfit is definitely going to be one of my go-to looks this fall. This really is a great way to "transition into fall." A three quarter length dress paired with ankle booties is perfect when the weather isn't too cold...and as the temps start dropping, add tights and a leather jacket and you're good to go. AND of course, to top it off, one of my favorite fall hats. If y'all haven't noticed, these floppy fall hats are literally EVERYWHERE and I'm seriously in LOVE (probably because, as I've shared before, it's just SO Rachel Zoe!). I am definitely going to be adding a lot more hats to my fall wardrobe so stay tuned :)

Thanks SO much for reading! I really do appreciate each and every one of you who read my blog and leave me comments. It means so much to me!

Chattanooga Fashion Week Recap!

September 10, 2014

Hi gorgeous readers!

Hope y'all are having a fabulous day! This past weekend, I was so honored to be invited to attend the third annual Chattanooga Fashion Week as a blogger! Chattanooga (in case y'all don't know, located in TN), is not necessarily one of the fashion capitals of the world :) which is why it's SO awesome that my city hosts an event such as Fashion Week. Fashion truly is an art, and it was wonderful to see local designers showcase their lines!

I brought one of my best friends along with me and we had such a blast at the runway shows on Friday and Saturday nights! I thought I would do a little recap showing y'all some of my favorite designers from Friday and Saturday. :) But first, my OOTN from Friday's show (featuring one of my favorite dresses EVER!)....

The first night of the fashion show on September 5 featured designs by Sienna & Bellini, Monarch, Desirae Danielle, Xen Swim, Bob Franklin Apparel, and Brandon Pierre. Sienna & Bellini is a new line based in Atlanta & influenced by European fashion. They have a new store coming to my local mall opening soon which I'm excited about! Their runway looks definitely inspired me for the fall featuring leather pants, sweaters, plaid shirts, & chambray....

I need that leopard dress, and plaid shirt :)

I knew I was going to love the designs by Desirae Danielle when the announcer stated her pieces had "Audrey Hepburn influence."  I mean hellooooo?! Who doesn't want a little Audrey in her wardrobe? This adorable line was created by the 21 year old self-taught designer Desirae Smith. My favorite part of her line were the cute party dresses, which came in adorable colors & had amazing details (I mean look at the backs of the dresses below)! Here's a couple of snapshots of my favorite dresses...

This dress is called "But A Dream" and can be found HERE!

The "Take Me Away" dress can be found HERE!

We had a fabulous time night 1! For my OOTN for night 2, I went with a cobalt chiffon dress, nude pumps & Louie (of course)!

Night 2 had some amazing designers as well! Sherie L. Nevett had some gorgeous fall pieces. This line has been described as being for the woman who dares to stand out with her style. So many of her pieces definitely embrace this motto, which I loved! Here were a few snapshots with links below to some cute pieces!

I LOVE this fur vest y'all! I seriously want it. Fur vests are one of my favorite things to wear in the fall. SO cute! Check it out online HERE

This double breasted caplet is SO chic. What a gorgeous look for fall! It can be found online HERE.

I seriously love these pants. So cute! Check them out HERE

Another line I ADORED seeing Saturday night was Anna Victoria Design. Anna Mittelstadt is the gorgeous designer (who also went to high school with me!) behind this line which has both southern and North-Eastern style influence. I loved the metallics, polka dots, and gorgeous dresses featured in this line. So chic!!!

Love the metallic polka dot blouse with these shorts! Would totally be cute in the fall with some ankle booties :)

This dress is to die for with the slit up the front! I need it :)

 I LOVED the blouse and the skirt paired together! Absolutely SO cute.

Gorgeous dress! There's nothing like winter white :)

I loved these metallic shorts. Would be so perfect for an evening out & could be carried into the fall/winter with tights!

Again, I LOVED the metallic polka dot print. I want this dress too!

The back of this dress was SO pretty!!! I'm obsessed with dresses that have amazing backs :)

And here we are pictured with the fabulous designer of Anna Victoria:

It's pretty amazing that you don't have to go all the way to NYC to see some fabulous fashion :). I was so honored to attend this year and am excited to see the future of fashion in Chattanooga!!! :)

Thanks so much for reading dolls!
