Another day, another fall hat! :) I seriously can't stop buying hats (I currently have 4 and counting....). Since this is one of those trendy items, I really don't want to invest a lot, so luckily I have found some adorable ones at Forever 21 and Target. The one I'm wearing in my OOTD is from F21 & it was only $10 (!!!!!) in stores! I literally bought it just a couple of weeks ago, and even though there's not a link online definitely check your local stores to see if they have it in stock! Another trend this fall that I'm excited is making a come back is the fur vest. I've ALWAYS loved fur vests (past evidence here & here)! I'm definitely going to be buying a new one this season...I have my eye on the one I've linked above from H&M. And of course, I am still loving plaid! Nothing says fall like a plaid shirt. It's so timeless and classic. I decided in this outfit to transition my jean shorts into fall. Don't be afraid to play with your wardrobe ladies :) it's definitely not completely fall weather in TN yet, but that's the perfect opportunity to play with your summer wardrobe and fall it up! :)

A Beachin' Summer Night!

Hi gorgeous readers!

I hope y'all are having a good start to your week! In continuing on with my beach trip outfits, today I wanted to show you an outfit I wore out to play some mini golf at the beach with my nephews. There's nothing that says beach vacation like a night of playin' putt putt! It was a pretty hot & humid evening so I wanted to wear something that would be cool, comfy but cute to play golf in. I bought the tank I'm wearing below recently at TJ Maxx (just call me a Maxxinista!) and fell in LOOOOVE with it. It's unlike anything else I have in my closet with the neon tribal print contrasting the black. It's made of linen so it was super airy/cool (BONUS!). I paired that top with my favorite denim shorts from Old Navy (see the link under my outfit pics below). I have to say my outfit must have helped my golf skills because I did manage to get a hole-in-one. It must have been because my top was airy enough for me to manage the perfect swing- HAHA, I'm kidding considering I had the worst score overall! Still a great evening with my family! We always went to Pirate's Island Golf in PCB, but I had no clue there was one in Gulf Shores too! So much fun!

Lace & Denim

Hi dolls!

 Hope y'all had a fantastic weekend & are having a good start to your week! So last week I had a mini shopping trip around town and found the absolute CUTEST denim shorts at Old Navy. I bought 2 pairs (a light and dark denim) and to make it even better they were both on sale!! To me denim shorts are a staple for the spring/summer. I just love the way they can be worn with literally anything (I mean, if I'm being honest, I'll be wearing them with cowgirl boots to a few country concerts this summer)! :) The ones I'm wearing below are a lighter wash which I think is even more summer-y (just made that a word! lol). ALSO, I love the look of denim with lace. This lace top was also on sale for only $10 from Charlotte Russe & can be worn on or off the shoulders! I love versatile tops like that! When I wore this last Friday, I felt like off the shoulders was more fun! Here's how my OOTD turned out...
