Hi dolls!
I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend :) Just a quick post to share with you one of my fave ways to transition some of your cold weather accessories into the Spring.
This pink faux leather moto jacket from Tobi (check out all of their clothes here) is seriously SO cute. Maybe it's because I've always been obsessed with the movie Grease and I totally feel like a Pink Lady in this jacket 😉... but I love it! And, trust me when I say you can never go wrong with the black & pink color combination. I know y'all know how much I love moto jackets, and why not carry this trend into the cooler day of Spring?! I decided to pair my pink moto jacket with a classic black romper from H&M. The black romper could be a casual substitute for the little black dress because it is seriously effortless and totally chic. Or, if you're more of a dress girl, pair a moto jacket with a sundress. Top it off with on your fave pair of sunnies and you've got yourself a spring #ootd for the cooler days!
Thanks so much for reading, beautiful! Have a fabulous day!

A Dressy Spring Look!

Hellooooo gorgeous!
Thanks so much for stopping by ;) Life has been a whirlwind lately but I wouldn't change a single minute. Our wedding is right around the corner & that means that wedding planning has been kicked into overdrive the past few weeks! So far this month we have had a wedding shower, went on our bachelorette & bachelor parties, met with the wedding planner, & I had my final gown fitting. Coming up this week are my hair & makeup trial runs. When things slow down, I'm definitely going to put a post together about the BEAUTIFUL wedding shower my bridesmaids hosted for us, and also about my most magical bachelorette party in Disney World!!! Stay tuned for those posts!
But today, I wanted to bring you this dressy look for Spring. Even though the temps dropped again last week (nothing like stepping off of the plane to 40 degree weather when it was 80 degrees in Disney World, haha!), it started to warm back up this weekend, so I thought it was the perfect day to put together this little spring #ootd.
To me, nothing says spring & warm weather like lace. Lace is one of my favorite fabrics because it is soft, feminine, and just plain pretty! The lace dress I'm wearing above is one of my faves from H&M. In my opinion, you can never have too many little black dresses, and every girl needs a lace one in their life! I actually loved this dress so much I also bought it in white. Unfortunately it is no longer online, but I found a SUPER cute similar one in the link above.
Finally, let's talk about this coat!!! I mean seriously could a coat get any cuter!? I absolutely love the draping and the wrap-around collar. It would be easy to dress this coat up or down, all around town (They totally named this coat appropriately, am I right?!). I chose to pair it with my lace LBD because I've always loved the color combination of black with taupe. Not to mention, it is currently on sale for only $34! Need I say more!? Be sure to check out Tobi's website HERE for super trendy, affordable clothing.
Be sure to stay tuned this week for an amazing giveaway coming up :)
Thanks SO much for reading dolls & have a Happy Monday!
XOXO

Hi dolls!
First of all, I'm so excited to share my brand new blog layout with y'all! I felt like it was time for something a little different on APFF. I hope you enjoy, and that it's easier to navigate. You'll also notice I have a new feature added to my sidebar "Recent Purchases + Classic Faves" showcasing my newest shopping purchases & also some of my wardrobe staples! Be sure to check it out!
So, on to this OOTD. This look I'm sharing with you today is one of my favorite ways to look dressy while keeping warm. Our weather in TN is kind of crazy this time (well really all the time, haha) of year. Some days have been absolutely FREEZING (i.e. when I wore this outfit) yet others are super warm (which I'll be honest, are my favorite! I'm already cold 24/7 so I enjoy the sunshine & warm temps haha). But, when the weather decides to be super cold, an outfit like this one is perfect!

First of all, a big warm winter coat is a must-have! I received this one for Christmas from my sweet parents. I absolutely LOVE the fur trim. Not to mention, it's SUPER warm! The fur hood dresses it up, while the "puffer" type look makes it more casual. These types of coats are my favorite to wear when the temps drop....and it's longer in length so it adds even more warmth!
This headband is one I bought during my F21 haul last fall, and I knew it would be perfect for cooler days this winter! One side is fur-lined; you can't go wrong with fur to warm up and add a pop of fashion to your outfit at the same time. 😊
The key to dressing warm is to layer, layer, layer, of course...and one of my favorite ways to do that is with a scarf! This infinity scarf is an oldie but goodie from Old Navy. I love the cream colors and how they contrast with black!
Finally, I will leave you with this picture of these amazing donuts we had at Judy's Darling Donuts the day we snapped this outfit. This hot pink wall is right beside it, so if you're on the hunt for a pretty wall to take pictures at, look no further than here next time you're in Chattanooga!

Thank y'all so much for reading, as always! Stay warm & dry on this rainy day in Tennessee!

Happy Sunday, dolls! How was your weekend!? We just relaxed, studied, wedding planned, etc. My sweetie had his wisdom teeth removed a few days ago so we took it easy!
He did feel good enough to get out one day, and take these pics for me real quick...I know, I'm a lucky girl! 😍
It was surprisingly and abnormally warm this weekend (unlike the freezing temps from last weekend!), so I was able to wear this bodysuit that I originally blogged about in my F21 shopping haul here. It was nice to shed the jacket for a few pictures with temps in the mid-to-upper 60's!
Bodysuits are a trend that I absolutely LOVE. I like the contrast of a bodysuit with a looser, baggy fitting pant (like these boyfriend jeans!). I was so in love with this bodysuit, I also bought it in a nude color. These are also perfect to pair with skirts. Another huge advantage of bodysuits?? You aren't constantly tugging on your shirt to make sure it stays smoothly tucked in your pants or skirt. Huge bonus in my fashion book!
I bought these studded Steve Madden shoes last weekend from DSW and I couldn't wait to wear them. Detailed sneakers like this tend to "dress up" jeans and make your outfit less boring. I loved the way they gave an edgy vibe to my overall look along with my moto jacket. These will also look SO cute paired with a dress this spring!
Did y'all have a good weekend?! I hope so! Thank you SO much for stopping by and reading. I appreciate each & every one of you. Have a fabulous week!
XOXO

Jacket: Free People (bought last year, similar here)
Beanie: Burton (Similar here)
Bag: Louis Vuitton (here)

Hi dolls!
Happy Sunday! How was your weekend!? We had a very easy-going one! Those are so nice every once and a while! We (finally) had time to take down Christmas decorations, spend time with family, and we took a ton of blog pics (thanks to my amazing fiancé! He is going to make the best blogger hubby ever, lol). It snowed a little bit Friday night, but melted quickly when the sun came back out on Saturday morning. However, the temps were literally in the 20's all weekend long! Talk about chiiiilllyyyy.
The look I'm wearing above features some of my favorite "winter staples." First of all, a chunky cable knit turtleneck is a must-have for your winter wardrobe. They are essential in my book for super cold days (enter: this weekend's 20 degree temps!). I bought this one at Old Navy (which my exact one is not currently online, but I linked a similar one above that I love!).
Next on the list, a nice, not-so-basic jacket with pretty details! The one I'm wearing above is by Free People and I am obsessed! It has zippers on the sleeves which not only adds some interest to the look, but it also is practical because...hello, has anyone else had the problem of a jacket fitting snug over a thick sweater?! Un-zip the sleeves a little bit, and it's way more comfortable because it gives your thick sweater sleeves a little room to breathe!
Scarves, scarves, and more scarves. Yes I know I blog about scarves A LOT, but it is because they are seriously an essential to my every day look during the winter months. They are the perfect way to stay warm, but added bonus: it can make a sweater you have worn a million times look like a brand new outfit. I firmly believe in the power of accessories!!! They are total game-changers & outfit remixers, ladies (& gents)!
A pair of warm boots are a winter must-have. Yes Uggs have definitely had their "moment" but no matter where you look, stores still sell them & there's a VERY good reason. They are seriously the warmest things you will ever put on your feet! I have around 8 pairs of different kind of Ugg boots, but I have to admit...these sequin ones are some of my faves! They are on sale where I linked them under my picture, so check them out! These definitely run true-to-size and are perfect for the cold temps. Your feet will thank you!
Last, but definitely not least on my list, is a winter hat. The pom pom beanie is one of my favorites. They provide warmth, and, BONUS: they cover up a bad hair day too, haha! There are soooo many cute ones in stores now & they are relatively inexpensive, so it's an easy way to once again remix an outfit. I love color coordinating my scarf & beanie as I did in my #ootd above.
What are your fave winter staples!? Leave me a comment below and let me know! Or, find me over on Instagram HERE and tag me in your winter outfits!
As always, I appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to read my blog. Love y'all!!!
XOXO
