Jason Wu for Target
When an Old Dress Feels New!
August 6, 2014
Hi dolls!
I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend and is having a great week so far! :) While deciding what to wear for dinner last night with my best friend, I decided to look at some of my older sundresses to see if there was anything that piqued my interest. This is what I like to call doing a little "shopping in my closet." I sure hope I'm not the only one out there who literally buys so many clothes that I sometimes forget what I have! The dress I'm posting about today is one of those older purchases. I wore it a lot when I first bought it, then I got tired of it, and into my "I don't wear these clothes very often" section of my closet she went. However when picking out my OOTN, this dress totally caught my eye. I LOVE the bright yellow color of the dress with the black & white print. Not to mention the longer length, the adorable buttons & the pockets all make for a fun dress! :) I decided to pair it with another older item in my closet, my Jason Wu for Target purse. Here's how my OOTN turned out....
Thanks so much for reading & commenting dolls! Happy Wednesday!
XOXO

My Jason Wu for Target Goodies
February 6, 2012
Hello dolls! I hope you had a great weekend & are having a great Monday so far! I wanted to post today about the Jason Wu for Target goodies I scored yesterday! The Jason Wu for Target collection hit stores yesterday as you might have read about in my post HERE. I wasn’t an over-the-top fashionista who stood in line at 8:00 am Sunday morning but I definitely was hoping they had items left by the time I arrived at Target. On my quest to score some Wu items, I ended up stopping in 2 different Target stores. The first Target was in Knoxville and I was VERY disappointed when I got there & found a small, picked-over display. There were no accessories to be found… the purses had sold out at 8:03 am according to one of the sales ladies (they opened at 8:00 am!).
Despite the limited selection, I tried on a few things…a couple of dresses and a shirt. Just a word about the sizing of the collection: a lot of the clothing runs big. I tried on two dresses both in x-small and they were too big! I was really disappointed that the red t-shirt dress didn’t fit because it looked so cute in the look book. It just goes to show how you can NEVER go by the size on a tag but rather always go by the way something looks ON you!!!
I would include the pictures of me in these dresses but I looked like a little girl playing dress-up in adult clothes haha so I just thought I'd show you a picture of the dresses on the hangers....
So leaving the Knoxville store rather disappointed, I thought I would stop in the Chattanooga Target. I definitely hit the jackpot in my hometown & was SO excited to find a lot of things left that I had wanted!!!! I might've let out a woo-woo, I mean Wu-Wu!!!! Compared to Knoxville's 3 displays, the Chattanooga store had around 5 and had a great selection of sizes left....
| The Knoxville Target had a total of only 3 Jason Wu displays...and most of the items were picked over! |

Needles to say I didn’t buy them since they were too big. The only thing I ended up buying at the Knoxville Target was this grey t-shirt with lace detail. A lot of his collection featured lace which I LOVE…so girly and feminine.

| The Chattanooga Target even had a great selection of purses! YAY! |
Here is what I bought….
This short-sleeve tee with cat print is probably one of my favorite things I bought in the collection! This cat is named Milu and was Wu’s Parisian muse for the Target collection! Unfortunately they only had a medium left but I’m obsessed with the shirt so I bought it any way. Since it runs a little big I’m thinking I’ll be able to pair it with black leggings and a red sweater/heels!

| I can’t tell you how excited I was to see they had purses left at the Chattanooga Target! I can’t wait to carry this flap satchel this spring/summer. It is a great size and I love the black/white color combination!
I was also super excited that this straw clutch was still in stock. It’s going to be the perfect casual oversized wristlet. LOVE!
Overall I was really happy with the Jason Wu for Target items I bought! They are going to be perfect to wear as the weather warms up.
It wasn’t nearly as picked over as the Missoni for Target line which I was very happy about AND I heard the Target website didn’t crash! Even better news, I saw onTwitter that Target is re-stocking some of their items online later this week so be sure to check back!
So will you be buying any of the Jason Wu for Target collection? Leave me a comment & let me know!!!
Xoxo,
Ashley
