Christmas 2017
A Casual Christmas Look!
December 21, 2017
{Outfit Details}
Dress: Old Navy (my exact print is sold out, but this is my exact style here!) // Sweater: H&M (here, wearing a size M for a more oversized look!) // Boots: Nine West (old, no longer online but similar here!) // Leggings: c/o Berkshire (here ; see another way I styled these leggings here!) // Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington (here, love this watch so much! I have the 32 mm size. Be sure to tune into my Instagram tomorrow for a discount code for 15% off!!)
Only 4 more sleeps until Christmas, y'all!!!
Who else still has presents to wrap!? If y'all could see through my screen, you would see me raising my hand high lol. We have Christmas parties & get togethers all weekend, so I better get to wrapping tomorrow!! Anyway, I wanted to share another Christmas look with y'all tonight if you're looking for some Christmas #ootd inspiration (see my other holiday looks I have styled here, here and here)!
For this look, I decided to go a little more casual because if you are like my family, we tend to have a more casual lunch/dinner on Christmas Eve/Day! I am just so in love with plaid for Christmas, and when I saw THIS dress at Old Navy, I knew it had to make its way into my wardrobe and it would be perfect to style for a Christmas look. I added one of my favorite H&M sweaters HERE for a layered look! I think it gives a touch of prep to layer a solid colored sweater with a plaid dress. Plus, it breaks up the monotony of a solid plaid dress and adds a new texture to the look! To see another way I styled a plaid dress before, check out my look HERE (would also be so cute for Christmas - instead of white, add a red sweater!). To add even more interest to this look, I once again added my fave Berkshire polka dotted leggings - seriously too cute with plaid right?! Be sure to stay tuned to my Instagram account tomorrow for a discount code for my gorgeous Daniel Wellington watch. I seriously have been wearing it non-stop!
I also wanted to say a little side note about posting so much red lately. Of course I have been showing so much red because nothing says Merry Christmas like red, but I also just wanted to say that my precious Mawmaw's favorite color of all time was red. She passed away in 2008, but I still think of her so often and miss her tremendously! I wish I could talk to her and wish she could meet my husband because I know she would love him. She had such a sweet, gentle nature and was such a woman of God. She LOVED Christmas and truly celebrated the REAL reason for the season and the birth of our Lord & Savior! Anyway - side note but just had to share why red really is special to me this season and always!
Thanks so much for reading dolls!!! I will check in one more time before Christmas...be sure to stay tuned to my Instagram HERE for all the holiday fun I am up to! Love y'all!!!!
XOXO

Christmas Outfit Inspiration: Tulle, Plaid, & Red Bow Heels!
December 19, 2017
{Outfit Details}
Plaid Blouse: Old Navy (here, on sale for $12!!! Old Navy has some of my absolute fave plaid shirts every year. This one is the perfect Christmas plaid! I sized up to a M for a longer fit) // Tulle Skirt: c/o Shabby Apple (no longer online, from a while ago! Linked similar skirts here, here, and here that is only $23!)// Heels: Jessica Simpson (here, runs TTS, obsessed with these! In "Holiday Red" - so appropriate) // Leggings: c/o Berkshire (here, love the polka dots!)
Happy Tuesday, sweet friends!
The Christmas countdown is ON! Only 6 more sleeps until Christmas!!! So tonight, I thought it would be appropriate to bring y'all some Christmas outfit inspo.
There is nothing more classic than a red plaid shirt for Christmas! This time, I wanted to "fancy" up my plaid by adding a tulle skirt & BEAUTIFUL red bow heels!! Or rather, maybe I wanted to make my tulle skirt more casual by adding the plaid. Whatever way you look at it, don't be afraid to mix and match items in your wardrobe to create fresh new looks! I love tulle around this time of year - it gives me total Nutcracker ballerina vibes (I used to perform in that ballet as a kid, so I have always loved it!). Can we talk about these gorgeous Jessica Simpson heels!? Nothing is more festive than "holiday red" bow heels (available here, also in 2 other beautiful shades)!!! They are perfect paired with these Berkshire polka dot leggings! Polka dots & plaid, count me in!!! I am still finalizing my Christmas outfit, but this would be perfect for a nice holiday dinner on Christmas Eve or Day! And...if you order by tonight this plaid blouse will arrive in time for Christmas!
Have y'all wrapped up (haha! no pun intended) your holiday shopping yet? I have finally finished....now I have to wrap all my presents!!! :) If you're looking for some last minute ideas, check out my gift guide HERE.
Thank you SO much for reading; it literally means so much to me! I will be showing you another holiday outfit idea soon (a little more casual) so stay tuned for that!
XOXO

"One gift can change the world."
How powerful is that statement?!
If y'all have been following along on my blog for a little while now, you may have read my post last year on the amazing organization Me to We and the impact that ONE gift can have on helping give a better life for a family, child, or community (read my post last year HERE). This organization helps "break the cycle of poverty through five Pillars of Impact: Education, Water, Health, Food and Opportunity." (Read all about this organization at their website HERE).
In my life, I have been so blessed to have all of those pillars - education, water, health, food and opportunity. I have had the freedom to live in this country and pursue different opportunities through education, I have access to clean water and food daily, and I have had my health - all of which I am SO thankful to have! However, I always believe it is SO important to reflect and think about how others may not be as fortunate to have these opportunities. When Me to We reached out to share their new products with me, I could not help but think how important it is to give back this holiday season! How AMAZING is it to think that through your purchase, you can help give a child, family, or community access to education, water, health, food and opportunity?! All of those things that I have at some point in my life taken for granted (I mean, I cannot even imagine how horrible it would be to not have clean water), are all true GIFTS to someone else who goes without.
With each product you buy from Me to We (shop the entire product line HERE), you are helping to give one of those five Pillars to a community in need (I would also like to point out that there are SO many awesome gifts at a variety or price ranges, as low as $9.99). On the website, you can actually "Shop by Impact" which I love - meaning you can specifically select gifts that will give the pillar of your choosing (education, water, health, food and opportunity) to those in need. Based on my career in the healthcare field, all of these pillars hold a special place in my heart. Each gift is even more meaningful because each was hand-crafted by someone in those communities that Me To We gives back to (i.e. in Kenya or Ecuador), which helps empower these women to earn a sustainable income! Seriously the greatest concept.
When you receive your gift in the mail, it will have on the back of the product package a code in which you can actually track your impact at trackyourimpact.com to learn exactly how the product your purchased helps those in need. Seriously - what an impact you can make with one gift and actually to see the impact and how it helps others is SO special.
I am so passionate about this organization and the change they are trying to make in this world! Remember, YOU can make a difference!!! I want to say a special thank you to Me to We for sponsoring today's post. I feel so fortunate to have this platform to share your message with others, and thank you for giving me the opportunity!!! Be sure to check out their site and shop the site for some amazing Christmas gift ideas!!!
XOXO

This coat is by one of my fave companies -SheIn! If you look, sherpa is literally EVERYWHERE in the form of coats (like this beauty I am wearing), pullovers, and even in blankets! If you know me you know I am ALWAYS cold, so I instantly knew I had to have this jacket - I mean who doesn't want to feel like you're wearing a blanket!? It is SO warm, and not to mention THE coziest/softest material EVER! I dressed it up a little here with my faux leather leggings & leopard print booties but it is so versatile that I have also worn it with jeans already (and throw on your Uggs for even more cozy!). I am seriously in love. The price is even better - only $33!!! SheIn also provides free shipping. There are other colors available as well, be sure to check that out HERE.
This jacket is shipped in 6-8 business days for free, or in 2-4 days for $12.90! This would make THE perfect Christmas gift for that lady in your life (bestie, sister, etc). Let me know if you have any questions about the fit of this amazing sherpa coat!
XOXO,
Ashley
