Summer Florals!
July 10, 2014
Hi dolls!
Hope y'all are having a great week! I know I've made it known how much I love stripes, polka dots, and animal print...but another pattern that I've grown more and more fond of this summer is florals. There is nothing more feminine than a pattern of all flowers!! This dress I'm wearing below is not as typical of what you often see with florals in that it is just black & white and not colorful. I love wearing black & white though because it's easy to pair it with any color accessories (and not to mention adding some color in your makeup with red lips as I did below!). I decided I would wear my turquoise purse again with this dress! I know y'all are probably getting tired of seeing this purse :) haha but it's seriously amazing just how many things it goes with! Here's how I styled my black & white floral dress...

Happy Wednesday!
Hope y'all are having a wonderful week so far. It's no secret that I LOVE animal print. While leopard tends to be my favorite, I honestly gravitate toward ANY animal print. Zebra? love it. Giraffe? Adorable. So it's no surprise that when I saw a TIGER print shirt in Forever 21 I knew it needed a new home in my closet. I bought this shirt last fall but since it's sheer I knew it would be cool enough for a warm summer day. I decided to wear it with my khaki shorts (also from F21) and my new nude pumps (another great F21 find, are you noticing a theme here? haha) for a chic look. I love pairing a longer sleeve top with shorts and heels!!! Here's how my look turned out....
Thank y'all so much for reading & taking the time to comment! It means so much to me!

Little Black (Lace!) Dress!
July 7, 2014
Hi dolls!
I hope everyone had a super fabulous holiday weekend! I worked on the 4th, but I was able to enjoy some best friend & family time after working! I ate dinner at the country club with my bestie Gracie and her family, then I hit good ole Soddy Daisy, TN for some fireworks with my sweet family! It was a great time. I'm reminded every day how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends & family! :)
Anyway, back to today's post! So I don't know about y'all but I have this weird problem where when I find something I like when I'm shopping, I want it in every. single. color! This results in me having multiple tops, dresses, shorts, etc in the same style but different color. Oops! But hey, you can't argue with what you like right? That's what I like to tell myself anyway, haha! That being said, that's basically what happened with the dress I'm wearing in my OOTD below. I had bought the white version of the dress at H&M last summer (remember when I paired it with cowgirl boots to a Kenny Chesney concert HERE?) & then when I shopped at the H&M in NYC last October, I found the EXACT same dress in black. Obviously I had to have it :). Not to mention a girl can NEVER have too many "little black dresses"....and never too many little LACE dresses! Last Tuesday I went to get mani/pedis & shopping with 2 of my BFFs, so I decided my black lace dress paired with sandals would be perfect for trying clothes on and being comfortable! I accessorized with my new Target turquoise purse that has quickly become my new fashion obsession (it surprisingly goes with SO much!). I love the way black & turquoise look together! Here's how my OOTD turned out....
And of course this post would not be complete without a few snapshots from our girls day....
I hope y'all have a great start to your week! Thanks so much for reading!

And of course we had to buy matching Jessica Simpson leopard print wedges (majorly on sale! Will post about soon!). We get asked all the time if we are sisters so I guess this further proves the theory that we may be related haha! Check out this girl's blog HERE!! She has seriously cute style!
I hope y'all have a great start to your week! Thanks so much for reading!

Younique 3D Fiber Lash Review!
July 3, 2014
Hi sweet readers!
Today I'm SUPER excited to share with y'all my review of the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes mascara. If you are not familiar with this product, it is a system that can be used on top of your regular mascara to give the appearance of (way) longer lashes! I honestly LOVE it!! I have always had trouble making my eyelashes as long as I want them and have tried COUNTLESS mascaras, so I can confidently say this is my favorite.
This product comes in super cute packaging & includes 2 tubes as you can see above. One is the "transplanting gel" and the other is the actual "natural fibers." The fibers are what really gives your eyelashes that extra OOMPH! :) I have used fiber mascara before, in particular I used Too Faced's version called "Better Than False Lashes" & I like Younique's version SO much better. The fibers in Too Faced's version are white....which I found hard to cover up well enough. In contrast, the Younique fibers are black & so you don't have to worry about white fibers peaking through. It's a super easy process to apply but the key is to do one eye at a time. First, use 1 coat of your regular mascara (I recommend Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Mascara) which you can buy from Sephora HERE). Then, use the moodstruck transplanting gel on ONE eye. Next, apply the natural fibers. Finally, apply one last coat of the transplanting gel....and voila! Hello bombshell lashes :) To make the process perfectly clear, I have included a video at the bottom (yes a VIDEO! I haven't done a video in forever!) that explains how to use it! But before I show you the video, I wanted to give y'all some before & after pictures...
This is a picture of my eye lashes without any mascara:
Big difference huh!? This stuff is amazing. If you are interested in ordering this product, check out Megan Steventon's Younique page by clicking HERE.
Finally, I want to leave y'all with a little video review where I explain how to apply the product and more about my thoughts! (I love the thumbnails that YouTube picks...I think they pick the most awkward snapshots to use from the video lol!)
Thanks SO much for reading & watching! Again, click HERE to order this product yourself!
