A Little {Leopard} Dress & A Little Red Clutch!
July 30, 2014
Hi dolls!
Happy Wednesday! A while back in May, this little leopard print dress caught my eye while I was out shopping at Ross. An entire dress in a pattern as bold as leopard print is tricky territory because it can definitely venture into the territory of a fashion "don't." However, the longer length of this dress with the lace detail around the waist and the fuller skirt made it more classy. After trying it on, I loved the way it fit and decided it was a must have! To add some color to the neutral palette of leopard print, I added a bright red clutch. I bought this ADORABLE clutch last week at T.J. Maxx (with a $50 gift card I won for being a "Maxxinista" daily pick contest winner on Instagram here). I especially love this clutch because it also has a gold chain link strap so it can be worn across the shoulder/body or just carried under the arm (as you can see below in my pictures). I love bright handbags because they really can add that special "pop" to an outfit. I also have always loved the way red looks against a backdrop of leopard print! To top it off, I of course had to put on some red lipstick :) Hope y'all enjoy!

Happy Wednesday!
Hope y'all are having a wonderful week so far. It's no secret that I LOVE animal print. While leopard tends to be my favorite, I honestly gravitate toward ANY animal print. Zebra? love it. Giraffe? Adorable. So it's no surprise that when I saw a TIGER print shirt in Forever 21 I knew it needed a new home in my closet. I bought this shirt last fall but since it's sheer I knew it would be cool enough for a warm summer day. I decided to wear it with my khaki shorts (also from F21) and my new nude pumps (another great F21 find, are you noticing a theme here? haha) for a chic look. I love pairing a longer sleeve top with shorts and heels!!! Here's how my look turned out....
Thank y'all so much for reading & taking the time to comment! It means so much to me!

Leopard Print for the New Year!
January 2, 2014
Happy New Year darlings!!!!
How was your New Year's Eve?! I hope everyone had a fabulous time & that 2014 is treating you great so far! My fiancé and I had a super fun evening at a local place called the Foundry. We played pool and shuffle boards and danced the night away to live music! New Year's Eve is one of my favorite times to dress up because some of my favorite things are ALWAYS appropriate: glitter, sequins, and fur! I went with the fur this year in my Juicy couture leopard print coat and a LBD. You can never go wrong with a little black dress, right?! Here's my OOTN:
While I loved my Jessica Simpson heels, I did have to switch to my new black Frye boots (Christmas present from my sweet parents!). Sometimes comfort wins over cute (hardly ever though).

Styling a Chambray Shirt with a Dress for Fall!!
September 9, 2013
Hello lovely readers!!!
Hope y'all are having a great start to your week! So tonight I wanted to share with you an OOTN I wore for a date night this past weekend. Here in Tennessee fall seems to be a million miles away with sizzling temps, but I'm starting to incorporate some fall pieces with my summer wardrobe! As you know, I love "transitioning into fall" as I have blogged about before so I put this outfit together with that in mind. I bought this chambray shirt from Old Navy last fall and have found SO many ways to wear it (for ideas on other ways check out my blog HERE). So for date night I decided to wear it over an animal print dress I bought from H&M (on sale for $10...holla!!) and belt it. Belting a button down over a dress is such an easy way to make a dress into a completely new and different outfit!!! Oh, and I also found out last week that I need reading glasses to wear along with my contact lenses so I bought this pair from Target last week & tried them on for some pics! :) Here's how my look turned out.....

Thanks SO much for reading dolls!!! You don't know how much your comments make my day!!!
