When That Dress You've Wanted Goes on Sale!

Hi dolls!
Happy OCTOBER! Wow! Can't believe September is already gone! So a few weeks ago, one of my best friends since elementary school got married and I was SO honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. The Friday night before was the rehearsal dinner, and in typical girl fashion, I decided that I just didn't have ANYTHING in my closet to wear. So what does that mean? Short trip to the mall...with 2 hours to spare..to find a dress to wear for the rehearsal dinner that night! Challenging? Yes. Mission Accomplished? YES!
When I went shopping back in May for a beach trip I was going on, I spotted this cute dress at Dillard's but decided to get another dress instead. I loved the color, the neckline and the layering in the dress however and never forgot this gem! Well it's that time of year when all the summer dresses are on sale, and I found the exact dress I had my eyes on months ago, in my size & just KNEW it would be perfect for the rehearsal dinner! The best part was when people told me they liked my dress I would say, "Thanks! I just got it 2 hours before this at Dillard's and it was on sale!" Guess the old saying, "good things come to those who wait," is true even when it comes to shopping!!! Here's how my look turned out....

Hi dolls!
I wore the look below a couple of weeks ago to lunch with my friend! For another fun "transitioning into fall" look (you know I'm all about that around here since the high in TN is STILL in the 80s) I paired my khaki shorts with leopard print sweater and sandals. Oh, and not to mention my new Louie! What's better than leopard print with a little Louie?! :)

Hi dolls!
Hope y'all are having a great week!! Tonight I wanted to share a recent OOTN featuring one of my favorite dresses from this summer... mostly because of the pink, blue and purple flowers. I just LOVE floral print! I wore it to a lot this summer and last week I decided to "transition it into fall" and pair it with my favorite jean jacket. I just love wearing florals into the fall because it brings a little touch of summer into the fall! Here's how my look turned out....

Styling a Chambray Shirt with a Dress for Fall!!

Hello lovely readers!!!
Hope y'all are having a great start to your week! So tonight I wanted to share with you an OOTN I wore for a date night this past weekend. Here in Tennessee fall seems to be a million miles away with sizzling temps, but I'm starting to incorporate some fall pieces with my summer wardrobe! As you know, I love "transitioning into fall" as I have blogged about before so I put this outfit together with that in mind. I bought this chambray shirt from Old Navy last fall and have found SO many ways to wear it (for ideas on other ways check out my blog HERE). So for date night I decided to wear it over an animal print dress I bought from H&M (on sale for $10...holla!!) and belt it. Belting a button down over a dress is such an easy way to make a dress into a completely new and different outfit!!! Oh, and I also found out last week that I need reading glasses to wear along with my contact lenses so I bought this pair from Target last week & tried them on for some pics! :) Here's how my look turned out.....
