The Girliest Nails!

Happy Tuesday!
I thought I would take a break from my beach outfits (I have 2 left to post :)) and show y'all my nails I got done recently. It has been literally over a year since I've done a nail post (seriously, I just looked it up) but with nursing school we can't have our nails painted...so I love the summertime because I can get them done again! I went to a new place in Cleveland, TN called Mood Swings & went to the nail technician Jessica Gomes. She literally can do any kind of design you can imagine! I went with one of my best friends the week before I left for the beach & I decided I wanted something SUPER girly (enter pink, bows, glitter, and flowers). You really can't get any girlier than these nails! I was super excited because I let my natural nails grow out so these are just gel nails. Hope y'all enjoy! :)

A Beachin' Summer Night!

Hi gorgeous readers!
I hope y'all are having a good start to your week! In continuing on with my beach trip outfits, today I wanted to show you an outfit I wore out to play some mini golf at the beach with my nephews. There's nothing that says beach vacation like a night of playin' putt putt! It was a pretty hot & humid evening so I wanted to wear something that would be cool, comfy but cute to play golf in. I bought the tank I'm wearing below recently at TJ Maxx (just call me a Maxxinista!) and fell in LOOOOVE with it. It's unlike anything else I have in my closet with the neon tribal print contrasting the black. It's made of linen so it was super airy/cool (BONUS!). I paired that top with my favorite denim shorts from Old Navy (see the link under my outfit pics below). I have to say my outfit must have helped my golf skills because I did manage to get a hole-in-one. It must have been because my top was airy enough for me to manage the perfect swing- HAHA, I'm kidding considering I had the worst score overall! Still a great evening with my family! OOTN: Polka Dots & Lace!

Hi gorgeous readers!
Hope y'all have had an absolutely fabulous weekend! So I tried to write more blog posts while I was at the beach (we just got home yesterday), but the internet there was soooo slow that I was only able to post one (see it here). However, I took a few outfit pics to post for y'all this week! We had such a wonderful time at the beach; I wish I was still there :). So the outfit below is what I wore out to dinner one night to a really fun place in Orange Beach called The Hangout. It had such a fun atmosphere including a live band & DJ! :) We had a great evening eating and dancing haha! So some thoughts about my outfit below: the skirt I found at Kohl's before I left for the beach & I just loved the lace detail, buttons & POCKETS (I love dresses/skirts with pockets. So cute but also functional!). I had also been looking for a new pair of black wedges and I wanted some that didn't cut off my leg at the ankle. I have short legs anyway so I like for my shoe to elongate my legs. So, I was super happy to find the pair I'm wearing below at Rue 21 because they don't have any straps around my ankles. To make it even better, they are eyelet print (SO summery!) and I got a great deal on them! :) Hope you enjoy my OOTN!

Beachy Florals!

Hi darlings!
This week I've been a little MIA on the blog because I've been chillin' at the beach since Sunday! We are at Orange Beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. It's absolutely beautiful here! I decided today before I headed down to the beach I should post one of my outfit pictures from dinner this week. We ate at a super fun restaurant called Lambert's that had delicious country cooking and where the wait staff throws rolls to the restaurant-goers! So for our first night out to dinner I decided to wear what I would like to call "beachy floral." Now, I know this may bring to mind "Hawaiian print" but don't worry, I decided I would skip out on the typical Hawaiin print shirts, and opted for this top from Forever 21. The navy shorts I paired the blouse with are also from Forever 21 and have a cute bow tie around the waist! :) Hope you enjoy my OOTN beach edition....
Of course this post wouldn't be complete without a picture of me with my precious nephews & sister in law on vacation before dinner....

OOTN: Summer Music Festival Edition

Hi dolls!
First of all I would like to say Happy Father's Day to my amazing Dad!! I know I can count on him no matter what and he means the world to me! He's such an example of a Godly man and has always put his family first. I love you Dad!
Now, on to the fashion :) I hope y'all have had a great weekend! So this past week in my hometown (Chattanooga TN!) there has been the Riverbend Music Festival going on which I LOVE. There are multiple artists from different genres that come during this weeklong concert series and it's just so much fun! Naturally I was most excited about the country concerts....enter my OOTN below for the Justin Moore concert. :) I just love putting on my denim cut off shorts and my cowgirl boots! I paired the boots & shorts with a new sleeveless blouse I bought recently from Old Navy! I had a blast singing my heart out with my girls!! Here's how my look turned out....
