The Girliest Nails!
June 24, 2014
Happy Tuesday!
I thought I would take a break from my beach outfits (I have 2 left to post :)) and show y'all my nails I got done recently. It has been literally over a year since I've done a nail post (seriously, I just looked it up) but with nursing school we can't have our nails painted...so I love the summertime because I can get them done again! I went to a new place in Cleveland, TN called Mood Swings & went to the nail technician Jessica Gomes. She literally can do any kind of design you can imagine! I went with one of my best friends the week before I left for the beach & I decided I wanted something SUPER girly (enter pink, bows, glitter, and flowers). You really can't get any girlier than these nails! I was super excited because I let my natural nails grow out so these are just gel nails. Hope y'all enjoy! :)
Thanks so much for reading y'all! :)
XOXO

Nail Post: Pink, Polka Dotted & Striped All Over!
May 5, 2013
Hello my lovely readers!
Happy MAY!!! I know it has been a hot minute since I've written a post and let me tell ya I have MISSED blogging!!! I have been taking lots of pictures and have tons of ideas though so since I am done with my first semester of nursing school and will have a little break, I'm going to get back to my old bloggy self!
I thought I would start back with a nail post!!! I know it's been forever since I've done a nail post because I can't have my nails painted at the hospital where I do clinicals for nursing school. So as soon as clinicals were over I scheduled a nail appointment! As soon as I did, I hopped onto Pinterest for some inspiration. On Pinterest I found a super fun design featuring my favorite color color combo: pink, white & black....AND my favorite patterns: polka dots and stripes! Needless to say I was anxious to try it out! Here's how they turned out....
Definitely a fun summer look! Here is a link where I found the original picture! So what are you currently loving for your nails?
Thanks so much for reading dolls!

Tiffany Blue + Sparkles = NYE Nails!
December 31, 2012
Happy (almost) New Year Dolls!!
I love NYE because it means sparkle, sparkle and MORE sparkle! While I'm still trying to make the final decision on my OOTN, I for sure knew I wanted some nails that really shined (see my NYE nails last year HERE)! This is totally easy to do as there are SO many sparkly nail polishes out right now :)
One of my super sweet blogging (and longtime friends) Alexa at Southern Living Our Way sent me a Christmas gift in the mail including the AMAZING Tiffany blue nail polish from the Essie 2012 Holiday Collection called "Where's My Chauffeur?"!!! I have been SO excited to try this polish & it was such a perfect gift :) Thank you Alexa!!! So when I got my nails done I layered this beautiful shade...
...underneath a sparkly gold, turquoise, orange and silver glitter mixture by OPI called "The Living Daylights" (another awesome Christmas gift from my sweet boyfriend!!!)
And now I present to you my NYE nails:
So what are you wearing on your nails to ring in the New Year?! :) Leave me a comment and let me know!!!
I am so excited to see what 2013 brings!!! I appreciate each and every one of you who take the time to read, follow, and comment on my blog. You make this such a fun and exciting adventure for me!! :) I'm looking forward to continuing writing in 2013 and connecting with many new people through blogging! I wish you a very Happy New Year!!!

'Tis the Season for Christmas Nails
December 15, 2012
Happy Saturday dolls!
I again would like to just reiterate how happy I am to be back blogging. As I've noted before, I'm still working on getting everything back to exactly the way it was pre-hacking, but also I wanted to make some changes too, which is why I decided to order a new template designed by the super talented Sarah Darr (check out her blog HERE featuring her awesome Etsy designs)!! I wanted something fresh, fashion-forward and fabulous! :) Sarah was a doll and so great to work with so if you're looking for something new for your blog be sure to check her out.
There are so many things I love about Christmas, and one of them is deciding what I want on my nails for Christmas day! :) HA! I know that probably sounds ridiculous to some, but I seriously always look forward to deciding what I want on them.....Christmas tree? Candy cane stripes? Rudolph? The possibilities are endless!! :) This year my SUPER awesome and lovely nail tech had found a cute design on Pinterest using OPI's Rainbow Connection from the Muppet Collection (I have a post on that collection but I am still working on recovering it). I loved this design because it was simple but festive and Christmas-y all at the same time! :) Here is how they turned out.....
Of course the Christmas fun didn't stop with my finger nails! My toes were also invited to the party :) On them we went with a Christmas version of French tips with OPI's Red Hot Gift for the base coat (even the name of the polish is totes Christmas appropriate, no?) and green glitter for the tips. SO cute!!!
To get your gears turning for Christmas nail ideas, I thought I'd post some of my faves from Pinterest:
So what are you planning on getting on your nails this holiday season?! I love reading your comments so be sure to fill me in! :)
Thank you SO incredibly much for reading dolls!! Hope you're having a fab weekend :)
XOXO

The Name's Bond, James Bond.
November 20, 2012
Of all the guy movies that come out, my definite favorite is James Bond. His British accent, suave moves, quick wit (and not to mention the "Bond, James Bond" line) all make him one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. So naturally I was super pumped when I heard OPI was coming out with a holiday collection based off of the newest James Bond movie Skyfall. I am telling y'all, this collection is THE best OPI has come out with in a long time.
I mean aren't the colors to die for?! Seriously...I want to try every single one of them. They are all SOOOO gorgeous! As per usual, Ulta has the collection in individual bottles for $8.50 and a mini 4 pack for $12.50 so you can get a taste of the collection. Unique to the Bond collection there is also a 3-piece "Get Bonded" set available featuring colors that the Bond Girl wore in the movie for $19.95 and a super amazing 18K Top Coat called "The Man with the Golden Gun" for $30 (not pictured).
While I've only tried one shade in the collection so far (I will show you which if you keep on reading) here are the ones I'm dying to try....
And finally, the color I tried...."You Only Live Twice." It is an absolutely STUNNING shade in magenta with sparkles throughout.

Have any of you tried the James Bond collection? What's your favorite color?
Also be sure to check out my newest post on the Marc Nelson Denim website HERE for ideas on how to style the MND jeans & shirts, and read for a 20% off promotional code when you buy any of the outfits I created!
Thanks so much for reading dolls!!! :)

| "The Living Daylights" Glitter mixture, need I say more? I envision this for New Years, or in all actuality for every day wear if you're like me. Wear this for your daily dose of glitter (doctor prescribed, duh!). via

| "Live and Let Die" A dark, blackened green color. Dark greens have become one of my favorite fall shades because it's so unexpected! via |

| "Golden Eye" I feel as if this is a color that can carry you through the holiday season: from Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years. It looks SO pretty and sparkly in the bottle, I can't wait to try it!via |
